How travel ideas are ordered

AwayNext ranks discovery results using the travel preferences a user selects and the normalized data available from providers.

Inputs we use

Depending on the search, ranking can consider fare amount, travel dates, trip duration, cabin class, direct-flight preference, and the selected sort order.

Recently found fares

Flight discovery results use cached fares. A lower recently found fare does not guarantee that the same price or seat will be available during a live search.

Partner relationships

AwayNext may earn a commission from qualifying bookings after a partner click. We do not label a fare as a discount without a legitimate comparison source, and affiliate status does not turn cached data into live inventory.

Incomplete data

If a provider is unavailable or returns no supported result, AwayNext shows an unavailable state rather than inventing a price, route, or booking option.
